Welcome to Guddychat. We value your privacy and want to explain in a clear and understandable way how we handle your information.

Guddychat is a multi-AI companion chat app. You can create and manage multiple AI companions with different specialties, chat with them separately, save important replies, and revisit your conversation history over time.

1. Information We Process
When you use Guddychat, we may process the following information:

• AI companion profile data you create, such as name, description, specialty, tone, tags, help scope, things to avoid, and prompt summary
• Messages you enter in chats
• AI-generated reply content
• Messages you save or bookmark
• App settings, such as theme and language
• Companion profile information used to generate AI avatars

2. How We Use This Information
We process this information mainly to:

• Create and display your AI companions
• Provide separate chats and conversation history
• Generate AI replies
• Generate AI avatars
• Save bookmarked content
• Provide theme, language, and local settings features
• Improve app stability and troubleshoot errors

3. Local Storage
The current version of Guddychat is primarily local-first. In most cases, the following content is stored locally on your device:

• AI companion profiles
• Chat history
• Saved content
• App settings
• AI avatar files

This means that most core data is not automatically synced to the cloud and is not shared across devices by default.

4. Third-Party AI Services
To provide AI reply generation and AI avatar generation, Guddychat may send the necessary content related to your current request to third-party AI service providers for processing.

The third-party AI service currently used is:

• SiliconFlow

The models currently used include:

• Qwen/Qwen3-8B
• Kwai-Kolors/Kolors

Among them:

• Qwen/Qwen3-8B is mainly used for AI text generation
• Kwai-Kolors/Kolors is mainly used for certain image generation capabilities, such as AI avatar generation

When you use these features, the following content may be processed:

• The chat messages you enter
• The AI companion setup information you provide
• The descriptive information used to generate avatars

We use these services only to the extent necessary to provide the related features.

5. Avatar Generation
When you create or update an AI companion, Guddychat may generate an AI avatar based on that companion’s profile. The generated avatar is then saved locally on your device and will be used when displaying that AI companion later.

If you delete the related AI companion or reset local data, the corresponding avatar files will also be deleted.

6. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell, rent, or publicly disclose your content to third parties except in the following situations:

• When necessary to provide AI replies or AI avatar generation
• When required by applicable laws, regulations, or legal process
• When necessary to protect our rights, users, or public safety

7. Your Control
Through Guddychat, you can:

• Create, edit, and delete AI companions
• Start new chats or continue old conversations
• Save and unsave messages
• Reset local data

When you use the “Reset local data” feature, the app will, to the extent possible, remove locally stored AI companions, chat history, saved content, settings, and avatar files.

8. Data Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your information and minimize unnecessary data processing and transmission.
However, please understand that no method of network transmission or electronic storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

9. Updates to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy if product features, laws, regulations, or service methods change. The updated version will be published within the app or on our website.
